Do you want to speed up your computer without buying a new one? Do you have an old laptop that takes for ever to load anything? Do you want to play the latest movies on your computer with out all of the lag? If so this is how to speed up Quicktime on any device. It does not matter if it’s a Mac or Window’s it works for both.

What is quicktime and what does it do

QuickTime is a multimedia framework developed by Apple Inc., capable of handling various formats of digital video, picture, sound, panoramic images, and interactivity. First released in 1991, QuickTime got its start on the classic Mac OS and has been part of all Mac OS X releases.

What does this all mean? It means that you can watch movies and do video conferencing without any lag with out buying a new computer or laptop.

How to speed up Quicktime

On any device

This is how to speed up quicktime on any device with out buying a new one. This does not require any money and you can do it no matter what device you have.

All you need to do is download an app on your phone called “iSpeed” or “BeFast”. If you are using iPhone the name of the app is iSpeed if not then Befast will be the name of the app. The next thing you do is you open up your app and press speed test. It will then ask for permissions to look at everything on your device. Accept the request whether it’s an iPhone or a Window’s laptop or computer.

The last thing you have to do is collect all of the information from the info button in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Once you have all of that then you have to press the “Go Faster” button in the middle of your screen. It will ask for your password so type it in and press go faster. The next thing you do is wait for it to work.

On Windows,

You can do this by going into the control panel then clicking on programs and features. Click on quick time then click on repair or change button. If you are not able to find the control panel, try looking in your start menu for a program called system restore. Click on that then look for an earlier date and time before you noticed all of the slow loading times. Try to choose a date where your computer was working fine and then follow the prompts.

On Mac

Users can do this in much in the same way except you would click on system preferences instead of the control panel. Then choose quicktime and click repair or change. If your computer still cant seem to run any thing at a decent speed it might be time to upgrade your device. The best thing is that your old device can be sold and you can use the money to get a new one that runs faster.

Please Note: There are different ways to speed up Quicktime but this is just one of them. If it’s still not working than you might need to buy a new computer or upgrade your older device to something faster. If the app doesn’t work for you then it might be best to upgrade your device.

This can be helpful to some users but not all. This only works with devices that have the quicktime player installed on them already. If you do not have it then you need to download it first before anything else. It doesn’t matter what operating system you have because it works with both.
